I genuinely had no idea what a "Circular" product or organisation really was. I just thought it was a new geographical concept, climate change or a new way to recycle. But soon, I realised that it certainly was a lot bigger than that. The Circular Economy is a mindset, it is the future of technology Innovation and business transformation. Some companies are already storm-trooping ahead with this evolutionary concept!
So what Is a 'Circular Economy'.. in a nutshell?

So, you hear about companies wanting to become more “Sustainable” and “Circular” but what does this actually mean? In the most simplistic and understandable form...
We currently live in a Linear economy, which means we:
** Create a raw material – produce this material – use this material – then we throw it away and it becomes non-recyclable waste… often ending up in Landfill. **❌

Sometimes we think are being circular but actually we are just part of the Reuse economy:
** Create a raw material – produce this material – use this material – kind of recycle but then… it still ends up in Landfill. **❌

SO... the ideal Circular economy world:
* Raw material – Production – Use – Recycle – Raw material – production – Use – Recycle (An iterative cycle) ♻️
The Circular economy Is NOT just about recycling, its about transforming business' and the mindset of people across the world to find new, Innovative ways of reusing, recycling, repurposing and remanufacturing materials. An example of Fashion + Innovation + Circular economy = Burberry's AWESOME collection made from Industrial plastic, floating rubbish and nets from the ocean 👏🏼
